Frequently Asked Questions

What surfaces can this adhesive bond?
It bonds wood, MDF, laminate, metal, PVC, cork, leather, rubber, glass, mirror, stone, and ceramics — including non-porous surface-to-surface combinations such as metal to metal.

Does it require clamping after application?
No. It bonds on contact, so no clamping or mechanical support is needed. Simply press the surfaces together firmly once both coats are touch-dry.

How long until full bond strength is reached?
Full strength is achieved within 24 hours. Initial contact bond is immediate, but allow the full cure period for maximum performance.

What is the coverage per tin?
A 500ml quantity covers approximately 2.8m² based on a single surface coat. The 250ml tin covers approximately 1.4m² on one surface.

Can it be used for rubber sealing strips and gaskets?
Yes. It is well suited for bonding rubber strips, gaskets, and sealing profiles to metal, wood, and other substrates — a common use in fabrication and installation work.

Is this adhesive suitable for upholstery?
Yes. It bonds leather, cork, and fabric-backed materials effectively, making it suitable for upholstery repairs and fitting applications.
