A hard-wearing, slip-resistant rubber matting manufactured from a natural rubber and styrene butadiene rubber (NR/SBR) blend. Yes. The A2, A3, and A4 sheet sizes listed are standard stock sizes. Larger sizes and custom-cut dimensions are available on request — please contact us directly with your requirements.
Is this matting suitable for outdoor use?
It can be used in covered outdoor areas such as porches, loading bays, or sheltered entrances. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and UV may cause surface degradation over time, so it is best suited to indoor or sheltered environments.
How do I clean and maintain the matting?
Clean with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry before replacing. Avoid harsh solvents or petroleum-based cleaning products, as these may affect the rubber surface.
What tolerances should I allow for in my measurements?
Allow ±0.3mm on thickness and approximately ±2% on sheet dimensions. These are standard manufacturing tolerances for rubber sheet products and should be factored into any close-tolerance installation.
Is this matting anti-fatigue as well as anti-slip?
The 3mm NR/SBR construction provides a degree of cushioning underfoot, which can reduce fatigue during prolonged standing. For dedicated anti-fatigue applications requiring greater thickness and cushioning, a thicker sponge rubber or foam-backed matting may be more appropriate.
