Can this strip be used outdoors?
Yes. The EPDM closed cell construction offers excellent resistance to UV light, air, and weathering, making it well suited to outdoor sealing applications including windows, doors, and vehicle bodywork.
What surfaces will the adhesive bond to?
The self-adhesive backing bonds reliably to clean, smooth, dry, and grease-free surfaces such as metal, glass, rigid plastic, and painted panels. Porous, dusty, or oily surfaces will reduce adhesion.
What is the operating temperature range?
This strip performs reliably between -40°C and +70°C, covering the full range of typical UK outdoor conditions as well as most vehicle and industrial environments.
Is this strip suitable for use with petrol or solvents?
No. This material has poor resistance to oil, petrol, and solvents and should not be used in applications where direct contact with these substances is expected.
How is the product delivered?
Each roll is supplied coiled for easy handling and storage. The self-adhesive side is protected by a removable yellow or white release liner until you are ready to apply it.
