Can I cut this rubber sheet to a custom size?

Yes. The sheet cuts cleanly with scissors or a craft knife, making it straightforward to trim to any shape or dimension on-site.

What is the hardness and thickness tolerance?

Hardness is 65 Shore A (−4/+5). Thickness tolerance is ±0.25mm on the 1.5mm nominal. Size tolerance for cut sheets is 2%.

Is this rubber sheet suitable for outdoor use?

It performs well across −30°C to +70°C but is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, UV, petrol, or solvents.

Can it be bonded to other surfaces?

Yes. Use a general-purpose contact adhesive on a clean, dry, grease-free surface for a secure bond to most hard materials.

Is this material suitable for food contact or electrical applications?

No. This NR/SBR grade is not recommended for food contact, electrical insulation, or flame-retardant applications. Please contact us if you require a specialist grade.
